Do you have a safe place for me to crash for a little while?

join our approved foster list

As a foster-based rescue, we simply can not save pets if we do not have fosters to rely on. We do not have a shelter or rescue building to take the pets to once we commit to saving them. We have to have a running list of approved fosters that we can call on when the time comes to help.

If you would like to apply to be a foster for us, please fill out our foster application below and we'll get in contact with you. Keep in mind, our focus is on pets in low-income housing, homeless pets and those in crisis situations. We help out with crisis situations such as fires, floods, hoarding cases, owner incarceration and other emergency situations. The pets we take in can often be very scared, broken and in poor health, but others can be great! Some times we get asked to take in owner surrenders who are in great shape and just need a new home.

Fostering requires you to assess your foster animal and be committed to ensure they become the best pet for their forever home. You will need to be 100% committed to this. Sometimes it will require you to potty train, crate train, leash walking and socialize with people and other animals. Most of our foster animals do not come “adapted”.

Fostering requires time from you and routines for the foster pet. We have a foster coordinator and volunteer support group who can help you if you are unsure of a corrective action, unwanted behavior, etc. We will give you advice and the support you need, but we ask that you see your commitment through until your foster pet is ready for adoption.
