Adoption Requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older

• Must complete a home check

• Must provide vet reference. If this is your first pet, please research vets in your area and let us know who you plan to use.

• If renting your home, must provide current copy of lease showing pet restrictions and/or landlord contact information.

• All other pets in home must be current on shots and spayed/neutered unless a medical condition restricts.
   

Adoption Fees:

• Adult Dogs (over 1 year) – $250

• Puppies (under 1 year) – $300
   

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations & rabies, flea & HW prevention (extra 1 month HW preventative, given at adoption) and microchip. If the pet had any medical issues including but not limited to: surgeries, HW treatment, skin conditions and/or behavior issues, it will have been treated by Georgia Pet TAILS’s prior to the adoption.  This situation will require you to FOSTER-to-ADOPT until your pet is healthy.  *Some pets may have discounted adoption fees.

If we receive more than one application on the same pet, it is not first come, first serve. We review the applications carefully and make the best decision for the pet and family.
